Emails and Blessings: A Kristi Kreme Post

It is the day after “Resurrection Sunday”, and I’m sitting at my computer going through many emails from the last several days. There are many that need deleting, but several that are either interesting or important. Those that get deleted right away are usually junk mail or things that I just don’t have the time or energy to go through.
Some of the emails are from sites that I’ve subscribed to, and I just file them in their folders to look at later. The special emails from friends or family get read first. But there are never enough of these, especially the ones that are encouraging.
Getting sweet notes of encouragement from friends is wonderful, especially in the world we live in. As moms, we need encouragement and support, and I need to be giving more encouragement than I have been lately. We seem to get too busy for this very important ministry.
I received an email from a dear friend today that was short and sweet but said exactly what I needed to hear. God has a way of using people to encourage and lift us up when we least expect it. That is so amazing to me, but greatly appreciated.
So the next time you have a thought in your head that would encourage someone at that moment, don’t file it away in your memory. Call or email that person and allow God to bless them. The blessing will return to you as well.
Kristi
