Marilyn Woodard @ 9:07 pm

I was completely confused by the Tip of the Week. It sounded important. Could you expand, or expound on it for the technically challenged among us?
Thanks,
Marilyn

Hey Marilyn,,,no probs!

Often we get emails that look important - like one form Paypal saying our account has been suspended and we need to log in and verify our email address or something else.

This can be from any one and about anything.

Most places don't send you this kind of email,,,meaning they are usually spam.

If you get one that you are unsure about it is a good idea to contact the place it is supposed to be from and ask them.
Google the contents of the email, perhaps some keywords, or the links they give you…just make sure you do this in a new window.

Never click on a link from your email…it could have harmful consequences for your PC or your information.

All just precautionary things to make sure you are not being spammed or targeted.
